Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) is a government funded Fellowship training program in the specialty of General Practice

Rural Generalist Training Scheme

The Rural Generalist Training Scheme (RGTS) is a four-year, fully funded stream of the College-led Independent Pathway that leads to Fellowship of ACRRM (FACRRM). It provides a comprehensive Rural Generalist education program, an agile training environment, flexible options to meet the program requirements, and individualised training support.

ACRRM prepares its trainees to be clinically courageous and competent Rural Generalists.  Every aspect of training and assessment is focused on rural practice with the College providing its trainees with locally based Medical Educator and Training Officer support.
