Rural Generalist joins International Delegation
In March 2023 NT Health professionals Dr Rael Codron, Senior Rural Generalist and Director Medical Services – Barkly Region, Dr David Mitchell, NT Chief Psychiatrist; and Ms Cheryl McDonald, Deputy Chief Nurse and Midwifery Officer joined Team Territory on an international delegation in the United Kingdom and Ireland to deliver information sessions to health professionals on working and living in Australia’s Northern Territory.
The sessions provided information on migrating to work, and live in the Territory and highlighting health professional roles available now. Sessions coincided with the launch of the NT Health clinical recruitment campaign currently targeting these countries to attract skilled health workers including General Practitioners and Rural Generalists.
This team of health professionals delivered information at events in Birmingham, Manchester in the United Kingdom and Cork and Dublin in Ireland.
