Join the Rural Generalist Coordination Unit to represent the NT
We are seeking expressions of interest from doctors who want to share their lived experience of rural generalism in the NT.
The NT Health’s Rural Generalist Coordination Unit (RGCU) has sponsorship opportunities available to attend various medical events and conferences throughout 2026.
Doctors also have the option of submitting an abstract/poster to any conferences they are interested in attending if they are conducting research or have any ongoing projects that they would like to publicise.
You will have the opportunity to attend talks and learn from the experts, stay up to date with the latest research and pursue networking opportunities with others in the field, while actively engaging with conference attendees who might be interested in the rural generalist pathway in the NT.

We are seeking individuals to represent the RGCU at the following events:

Doctors sponsored by the RGCU are expected to agree to the RGCU Sponsorship Recipient Responsibilities Guide. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting at the RGCU exhibitor booth and engaging with conference attendees.
- Actively attending the event in its entirety as well as each of the included functions.
- Completing the delegate post-event survey within 10 days post event
The RGCU will cover the cost of flights, accommodation and conference registration.
Applications close
For those applying to attend AIDA 2026 or RMA 2026, please submit your expression of interest by 13 April 2026.
For those applying to attend all other conferences, please submit your expression of interest by 30 April 2026.
Outcomes of the application process will be advised in mid-May.
