In March 2023 NT Health professionals Dr Rael Codron, Senior Rural Generalist and Director Medical Services – Barkly Region, Dr David Mitchell, NT Chief Psychiatrist; and Ms Cheryl McDonald, Deputy Chief Nurse and Midwifery Officer joined Team Territory on an international delegation in the United Kingdom and Ireland to deliver information sessions to health professionals on working and living in Australia’s Northern Territory.

The Northern Territory Rural Generalist Coordination Unit are pleased to announce the launch of the five-year NT Rural Generalist Strategy (2022–2027) PDF (9.4 MB). We are the first in Australia to put a Rural Generalist Strategy of this kind in place.
