The Flinders NT Regional Training Hub aims to better coordinate training opportunities for medical students and trainees and to build specialist training capacity to help deliver a sustainable Australian trained future medical workforce for regional, rural and remote communities.
The NT Medical Program trains and supports medical students across Darwin, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine and Nhulunbuy. Places in the Northern Territory Medical Program are for applicants who are prepared to work in the Northern Territory for at least four years after graduation.

Prevocational Medical Assurance Services
On behalf of the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) the Australian Medical Council (AMC) accredits all Australian State and Territory prevocational accrediting authorities. The NT Accrediting Authority is the Prevocational Medical Assurance Services. The NT Accrediting Authority (PMAS) undertakes periodic survey events to ensure that the Prevocational Education and Training programs (PETP) across the NT are compliant for postgraduate years 1 and 2 medical trainees (PGY1 and PGY2).
