The delivery of primary health care services across the Katherine Region is through four primary health care centres Katherine Urban, Borroloola, Robinson River and Pine Creek.
Outreach services are also provided through the Katherine Primary Health Care (PHC) outreach team and the Darwin based Primary Health Care Outreach Team, to small communities and outstations in very remote areas where a permanent primary health care service is not available.
The Katherine Region PHC must align its priorities with those set out by the Top End Regional Health Service PHC in order to maintain a clear line of sight between TEHS PHC and specific Katherine Region PHC service delivery priorities, which are based on, and reflect, the needs of the Top End community.
