Join AIDA for the first Cultural Safety Workshop in 2025 in Brisbane
AIDA is bringing their face-to-face workshop ‘The Clinical Application of Cultural Safety’ to Turrbal and Jagera country in Queensland this March.
Their unique Cultural Safety program has been developed by Indigenous Doctors and will be delivered by Indigenous Doctors in Brisbane on Wednesday 12 March.
This compelling training helps participants to extend their knowledge about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and culture, explore how attitudes and values can influence perceptions, assumptions and behaviours in a clinical setting, and discuss specific ways to be more culturally aware.
- When: 8:30am to 5:00pm, Wednesday 12 March
- Where: Christie Spaces, 320 Adelaide St, Brisbane
- Investment: $1540 - Group discounts available
The workshop includes interactive and experimental teaching, as well as preparatory and follow up activities. The training is also accredited for continuing professional development (CPD) or equivalent with several specialist medical colleges.
This face-to-face learning is part of our Cultural Safety program which we are looking forward to delivering to individual practitioners around Australia this year.
